Oh boy, I really like the ideas of checking the oil while the cycle is leaning and of course a dip stick would be easier then geting down on the ground to view the stupid site glass location! I still will probably use my established way of using the site glass , because I found out that daily checking has not been necessary. I use a piece of 2x4 on edge (under the side stand foot) to determine "vertical" position. I make use of my wife to assist me by holding the cycle steady against the block, so that the cycle does not fall on me.
